Missing Link is a 2019 Laika Entertainment is scheduled to be released on April 12, 2019.
It has been more than six months since Laika presented his new work at the Cannes Film Festival, and it seems that the studio has made enough progress in production to start walking around the world. Those responsible for films such as "Kubo and the two magic strings" or "Coraline" have spent the last two years after their last great success preparing "Missing Link", a film that artistically continues the line of the study, and that naively seems to be submerged in mythological fantasy. Until now what was known about it were only sketches, but it seems that the expectations were not unfounded.
Annapurna wanted this week to counter the premieres of "El Grinch" by Illumination, and "Ralph breaks Internet" by Disney, premiering by surprise the first trailer of "Missing Link". We traveled at the beginning of the 20th century in a story that seems to abandon the purest fantasy of Kubo, to look for references in the real legends of different ancestral peoples around the world. And it seems that history will once again be on rails, and will take us to different places on the planet; from the unexplored forests of the United States, to the icy lands of the Inuit.
